Spencer Clarke Group are currently working alongside a client within the Motor Trade Industry based in Burnley. Our client is currently looking for an Assistant Accountant/Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Are you experienced within the Motor Industry? Are you looking for the next step in your Finance career?

Your main duties will be responsible for the preparation of dealership accounts, whilst also completing administration and credit control duties:

• Being in control of all round accounts 
• Working alongside other managers within their business and liaising with them about the financial management of their individual departments
• Preparing annual budgets, monthly and weekly
• Assisting with the submission of Weekly Forecasts to Head Office
• Taking control of company asset register
• Daily management of the business finance department administrators
• Assisting with the submission of Weekly Forecasts to Head Office
• Preparing and submitting of monthly dealer composites to manufacturers
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• All round Sales ledger and Purchase ledger duties 

In return our client is looking for someone who has previous experience within the Motor trade industry, or has worked to Assistant Accountant level. Strong use of excel skills is required.
