~ Economic Development/Regeneration Project Officer ~

Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with Lancashire County Council to appoint a Economic Development/Regeneration Project Officer to their Growth, Environment & Planning Service.

3 Month agency contract with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.

Hours – 37 Hours a week. (Full Time)

Location – Preston, PR1 8XJ. (Working from home)

Rate of Pay – £20.16+ per hour – Higher rates can be negotiated for more experienced candidates.

*** Successful candidates must have experience, at a senior level, of working across a range of strategic and economic development and growth programmes, projects and initiatives ***

About the Role

To deliver key priorities identified by the Head of Strategic Development in line with the county council’s strategic economic priorities and in support of growth and economic recovery programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• You will work to the Head of Strategic Development and will be line managed by the Strategic Development Programme Manager to support the development, delivery and management of the county council’s strategic economic development priorities.
• Work within a range of multi-disciplinary project teams with LCC staff, consultants, technical professionals and stakeholders within the public and private sector.
• Attend, in a supporting capacity, relevant committees, boards, technical and commercial groups and partnerships.
• Support to Strategic Development projects of a capital and revenue nature.
• Infrastructure Planning.
• Government initiatives/opportunities to support the economic recovery of Lancashire.
• County council economic recovery grant support and bid writing support as required.
