Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with Wakefield Councilto appoint 2 x ICT Technical Support Officers to their team.
Contract – Agency contract until April 2020.
Rate of Pay –£16.50+ per hour – Negotiable depending on experience.
Working Hours – Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00
About the roles
There will be two posts available, one for Service Desk and one for the Windows 10 Rollout.
Service Desk Analyst
The post will involve working within our ICT Service Desk team, providing technical support and problem resolution to the entire council and some external partners. Meeting the needs of our staff and customers is our highest priority and you’ll be their first point of contact, either on the phone or via a web portal for IT related requests and issues. You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to manage customer expectations, provide advice, support and resolve enquiries quickly and efficiently.
Windows 10 Rollout
The post will provide support for the upgrade of desktop devices to the entire council. You will be working with our Windows 10 deployment team to deliver a hardware refresh and Windows 10 rollout project.
You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to manage customer expectations, provide advice and support.
