Are you a Personal Tax enthusiast? Perhaps you have been working at Senior level and looking to progress?

Spencer Clarke Group are currently working alongside an Accountancy Practice to recruit an experienced Personal Tax Manager who will also act as Head Of Department.

As Personal Tax Manager you will be required to head up and be responsible for all aspects of the department. This can include:

  • Overall responsibility for compliance work in respect of approx. 650 personal tax returns in total across the department
  • Responsible for your own allocation of personal tax returns – the more complex/challenging ones
  • Supervision of junior staff who in turn have their own allocation of the above total, this includes monitoring and reviewing junior work
  • Dealing with investigation/ tax planning work as necessary
  • Organising and being responsible for P11ds as necessary
  • Billing and budgeting

Within the Personal Tax Season, the role would have to be fully immersed in Personal Tax matters but there may be a way to make this a more mixed role with responsibility for CT matters also. More detail about this is upon discussion with both Lauren at Spencer Clarke Group and the client.

The role would be office based.
