We are working in closely with Cheshire East Council to assist them in appointing a SEND Inclusion & Quality officer on an interim basis.
The role is on a full-time 3–6-month agency contract with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.
We are keen on speaking to SEND Professionals who have experience in Quality Assurance within the Statutory Assessment & EHCP process and who have worked along the complaints and mediation process.
Locations – Working from Home – IT equipment to be provided by the Council.
Pay Scale – Starting from £300 per day. Negotiable depending on experience.
About the Role:
To provide support, advice, guidance and training to schools and colleges on the SEND Code of Practice and the implementation of all associated legislative and statutory responsibilities and requirements.
This includes providing advice and support on the development of inclusive practice and how to request a statutory assessment for an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for children with complex Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
You will be Supporting the management of the SEND Team by developing a quality assurance framework for Needs Assessments and EHCP and ensure the team is learning from complaints.
