Welcome to the SCG Hall of Fame
We understand the significance of recognising and rewarding high achievers within the four departments which make up Spencer Clarke Group.
Not only do we celebrate high achievers on a monthly and quarterly basis, we also award Employees of the Year at the Spencer Clarke Group christmas party.

Niall Murphy
EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR
An instrumental member of our education division, Managing Consultant, Niall Murphy walked away as our Employee of the Year. Along with excelling in his role, Niall cemented himself as a reliable, positive and caring influence amongst the rest of our employees.

TOP BILLER - TEMP
Alongside being crowned our top biller in the temp sector, Richard Shorrock was named ‘Temporary Recruiter of the Year’ at the 2024 REC Awards, an accolade which showcases the outstanding achievements he made throughout 2024.
Adam Pickering
TOP BILLER - PERM
Showing that consistent hard work can deliver outstanding results, Recruitment Consultant, Adam Pickering, was awarded this accolade for the second year running.
Adam Zyda
CONSULTANT OF THE YEAR
Principal Consultant, Adam Zyda, was awarded our highly coveted accolade, Consultant of the Year. 2024 was a prosperous year for Adam who excelled within our local authority SEND team.
Luke Meeks
SUPPORT OF THE YEAR
As Creative Lead, Luke Meeks worked on multiple outstanding campaigns throughout 2024, including our Big Community Build and filming for our Safeguarding Children in Schools course. These are just two of many projects that made him a very worthy winner of Support of the Year.
Jamie Heath
MANAGER OF THE YEAR
As head of our fastest growing team, Managing Consultant, Jamie Heath, led our education division from strength to strength throughout 2024. His team consistently exceeded expectations under Jamie’s management.

TOP BILLER - OVERALL
After scooping not one, but two awards at the 2024 REC Awards - including Agency Star of the Year - Divisional Manager, Richard Shorrock, topped off a fantastic year by being named our overall top biller.
Compliance & Payroll
TEAM OF THE YEAR
After a busy year completing multiple audits, it was our Compliance and Payroll department who won Team of the Year. We were over the moon to pass all audits with flying colours which included achieving 100% in two Reed audits, over 99% in our APSCO+ audit and a pass for our NHS CCS audit.

CULTURE CHAMPION
An accolade awarded for exuding our culture, Lead Consultant, Matt Byrne-Fraser, was an obvious winner. Remaining resilient when changing markets and diving head first into a new challenge, Matt showcased exactly what it means to be an SCG Culture Champion.
Nicole Sherwood
UNSUNG HERO
Tasked with developing our Career Hubs and enhancing the candidate experience, Content Writer, Nicole Sherwood, was recognised as our Unsung Hero. After producing a plethora of insightful content, Nicole helped to increase our website traffic by 97% during 2024.

BEST NEWCOMER
After a year which saw our headcount nearly double in size, Lead Consultant, Paul Best, was the very worthy winner of Best Newcomer. Part of our education team, Paul worked with countless SEN schools throughout 2024, providing a seamless recruitment service to all.
Joe O'Halloran
MOST IMPROVED
Lead Consultant, Joe O’Halloran, started 2024 with an ambition to grow our Property and Regeneration market. Over the course of the year, Joe achieved consistent growth within the division which led to a well deserved promotion along with hitting company milestones and achieving his personal targets.

A joint ‘Employee of the Year’ winner along with Thomas Humphreys, this is the second consecutive year in which Marketing Manager Debbie Holden has claimed this prestigious accolade.

EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR
A joint ‘Employee of the Year’ winner along with Debbie Holden, Business Manager Thomas Humphreys claimed the title through his instrumental role in Spencer Clarke Group gaining its ISO accreditation in 2023.

In a year where Richard Shorrock scooped multiple awards, Richard was also promoted to Spencer Clarke Groups first Divisional Manager.

In addition to this accolade, Richard Shorrock also scooped ‘Best Temporary Consultant’ at the 2023 Global Recruiter Awards for his services to SEND recruitment. This award demonstrates that Richards transformative impact is felt beyond the four walls of Spencer Clarke Group.

Along with being crowned Culture Champion twice in 2023, Recruitment Consultant, Adam Pickering claimed this accolade in his first full year as a recruiter.

A recognition which Principal Consultant, Chris Wilkinson has claimed for two consecutive years, Chris has a remarkable track record of successful placements and satisfied clients. Winning two years on the bounce demonstrates Chris’ enduring impact and dedication to his craft.
Rosie Alty
SUPPORT OF THE YEAR
In Rosie Alty’s first full year with Spencer Clarke Group, she has claimed this much coveted award for her hard work and commitment to supporting back office operations. In 2023, Rosie was also promoted to Senior Compliance Officer!

As well as demonstrating impressive personal records, Richard Shorrock has also led his team to success winning ‘Team of the Quarter’ twice in 2023!
Education
TEAM OF THE YEAR
For this hotly contended award, it was the education team, managed by Jamie Heath, who claimed the title after an exceptional year of growth. Now a team of 11, the education team have demonstrated what can be achieved when you work hard and as part of a team.

CULTURE CHAMPION
It was Recruitment Consultant, Destiny Buck who claimed this award after fully immersing herself into Spencer Clarke Group culture! In 2023, Destiny and 5 colleagues formed the ‘Happiness Heroes’ to bring joy to the office which includes organising summer socials and breakfast clubs!
Ellie Cutts
UNSUNG HERO
Working hard behind the scenes, it was Marketing Executive, Ellie Cutts who claimed the title of Unsung Hero for her marketing efforts, charity work and dedication to office culture - which includes keeping our office plants alive!

Senior Consultant, Niall Murphy claimed the Best Newcomer award through his positive impact on the education team and wider office - which includes keeping us entertained with his angelic singing voice!

It was Senior Consultant, Sophie Payne, who scooped the Most Improved award! After joining us in 2022, Sophie has demonstrated what can be achieved through resilience and hard work.
