Meet Nicole.

After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Journalism in 2018, I pursued a career in retail, working in Debenhams for over 2 years. 

While I was working there, I also worked in a local café in Bolton as a waitress which was good fun. Undertaking two public facing roles really built my confidence and people skills. 

After leaving Debenhams, I took on a role as a Barista Maestro at Costa Coffee and it was during this time that I also completed a Masters degree in The Beatles: Music Industry and Heritage. I’m a big fan of the Beatles so I knew this would be something that I would enjoy but that might also lead to exciting career opportunities.

I also gained some experience writing press releases and content which was a fantastic opportunity to expand my skills. 

While studying and working at Costa, I knew I wanted to begin a career that involved writing and creating content and that is when I spotted the role at Spencer Clarke Group! I was over the moon to join the team in August 2023! 

My role at Spencer Clarke Group involves writing blogs to display our expertise and attract candidates and clients to our website.  As part of the marketing team, I am responsible for content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing and SEO.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, especially Old Hollywood films. I also like going to the theatre in Manchester or London, going out for food or taking part in activities such as bowling or crazy golf!
