Richard Shorrock Wins Two Awards at 2024 REC Awards!
02 Dec, 20241-2 minutesWe’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Divisional Manager, Richard Shorrock was the winner of Temporary Recruiter of the Year and Agency Star of the Year at the Recruitment & Employment Confederation’s 15th annual REC Awards 2024.
The REC Awards celebrate the best in UK recruitment, showcasing the work of brilliant recruiters from across the industry from agency to in-house and from start-ups to multinationals.
REC’s role is to drive standards and empower recruiters to be brilliant and the annual REC Awards celebrate those that hit and exceed the standards.
In all, 36 individual and 63 company entries were shortlisted across 19 categories. The winners were announced at the REC Awards ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on 21 November 2024.
As the very first employee to join Spencer Clarke Group back in 2018, Richard has grown from strength to strength. Richard specialises in SEND recruitment in the public sector and supports countless councils with their staffing requirements and professionals with their careers.
Richard Shorrock said “I am absolutely over the moon to take these awards home with me. To win one was amazing but to win two was more than anything I could ever have imagined!”
Shorrock continued “I was up against some strong competition and to be recognised makes me feel very proud.”
