​“I had experience of working with Spencer Clarke Group in 2019, when I was in the post of SEND Locality Manager for Cheshire East Council; I required a number of interim SEND Keyworkers.

I explained to Richard that I was looking for staff who could ‘step straight into the role’, i.e. they were already doing a similar role/had done a similar role.

Richard clearly understood my request as the large selection of candidates he promptly put forward all met the criteria. I appointed approximately five SEND Keyworkers, all of whom were well experienced and skilled staff who were capable of doing the job.

During the recruitment process and the contracts, Richard kept to all timescales, and he was very proactive in moving things forwards; in fact, he was often chasing me up! He remined in constant and efficient communication with me; he is personable and easy to talk to.

I found that Richard had a genuine interest in his candidates; he wanted the best for them.

Any staffing concerns that I had were dealt with by Richard in a professional and prompt manner. I am pleased to say that I had no concerns with Spencer Clarke Group as a company.
