Kingsbury Primary School is a state special school for boys and girls aged from 2 to 11 years old.
The Challenge.
"We have rapidly expanded and we have had a few long term illnesses that were not expected, which meant we were short of quite a number of staff at short notice.
It was very difficult to run safely in the reduced numbers due to the needs of the children.
I was introduced to Spencer Clarke Group through a Business Managers network meeting."
The Solution.
"Our consultant, Jamie Heath, found a number of highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistants at short notice. He visited the setting so that he truly understood our needs as a school and what skills, personality and type of person we were looking for.
In doing this, it meant he could send only the people that he thought would fit and it has made the day to day running of the school much more successful.
They have recruited and sent suitable staff, a number of whom we have kept on due to their high calibre and success in supporting the complex needs of our pupils."
