An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts & Audit Senior to join a modern, well-established, cutting edge, and proactive Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Harrow.

The role is 70% Accounts & 30% Audit and you will be experienced in Accounts preparation and reviewing Accounts and managing and leading Audits.

The key to success is having extensive UK Chartered Accountancy Practice experience and being able to work under pressure and to deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

•     Preparation and submission of statutory accounts – FRS 102 1A – Limited Companies and LLPs (reviewed directly by a director)

•     Preparation and submission of corporation tax returns (reviewed by Tax Department)

•     Leading audits from planning through to completion

•     Review semi seniors’ work

•     Manage portfolios

•     Direct communication with clients

•     Assisting clients with accounts software and other queries

•     Training clients on Cloud software

•     On the job training of semi seniors and subordinates

 

Essentials Skills and Experience

•     ACA/ACCA qualified

•     Strong accountancy practice experience

•     Able to lead audit assignments

•     Ability to work from incomplete records or computerised TBs

•     MS Excel skills

•     Excellent written and oral communication and client service skills

•     Excellent commercial awareness

 

Desirable skills and Experience

•     CCH Accounts Production, CCH Corporation Tax software

•     Xero Accountancy Software

•     Pro-Audit Software and Virtual Cabinet

 

What’s on offer

  • Salary: £47,000 - £55,000 DOE
