Spencer Clarke Group are searching for an Advanced Public Health Officer on behalf of one of our clients in the Norfolk Area. In this role, you will play a vital part in commissioning and overseeing programs that support individuals in quitting smoking, contributing to the reduction of smoking-related illnesses and improving overall health outcomes.
What you will do:
- Commission and manage smoking cessation programs across various settings.
- Monitor the effectiveness of existing programs and make recommendations for improvements.
- Promote awareness of smoking cessation services to local communities and vulnerable groups.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, local authorities, and community groups to develop and implement strategies for smoking cessation.
- Collect and analyse data to evaluate the impact of smoking cessation initiatives.
- Provide advice and support to healthcare professionals in the delivery of smoking cessation services.
Requirements for this role:
- A degree in public health or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in health commissioning, public health, or a related area, ideally with a focus on smoking cessation or tobacco control.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- A commitment to reducing health inequalities and improving public health outcomes.
