Accountant (Banking & Income)
A Local Authority in North London who are looking to appoint a talented Accountant on an Interim basis, are working with Spencer Clarke Group to find a successful candidate.
What's on offer:
- Rates: £20 - £27 per hour, inside IR35.
*Negotiable based on experience

- Fully Remote Working Available.
- Contract type: Contract (37 hrs a week)
- 5 months ongoing +
- Hours: 09:00 -17:30
About the role:
Required to support the Treasury and Banking Function within the Strategy, People & Pensions Team.
Responsibilities:
Based in Berkshire (Fully Remote):
- To process the Councils banking and Income transactions.
- Prepare Daily Cashflows
- Monitor and clear suspense accounts & undertake bank reconciliations resolving outstanding balances in a timely fashion.
About you:
You will have the following experience:
- AAT qualified or working towards a similar qualification; or experience of working in a finance service in a large organisation.
- A minimum of three years' experience of working in a financial, preferably banking, environment.
