Caseworker - Refugee, Resettlement & Migration Service

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Caseworker - Refugee, Resettlement & Migration Service for a Local Authority Client based in Chichester.

In this role, you will provide support to refugees and migrants, helping them navigate housing, employment, education, and community integration to rebuild their lives with independence and dignity.

Key Duties:

• Provide casework support to refugee and migrant families, ensuring access to housing, welfare, education, and healthcare services.
• Build strong relationships with partners, volunteers, and community organisations to facilitate integration and support networks.
• Maintain accurate case records, monitor progress, and identify any safeguarding or urgent support needs.
• Offer guidance on employment, training, and benefits, empowering individuals to achieve independence.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

• Experience in casework support, including welfare, housing, education, and healthcare for refugees and migrants.
• Strong collaboration skills, working with partners, volunteers, and community organisations to support resettlement.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, cultural sensitivity, trauma-informed approaches, and use of translation services.
• Excellent record-keeping, data management, and ability to handle a varied caseload effectively.

What's on offer:

Salary: £16+ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
