We're currently working with a local NHS Trust who are seeking a Band 5 Community Nurse to join their Primary Care Team in East Ham.
- Salary: £23p/h Umbrella *potentially negotiable depending on experience*
- Contract type: 3 month initial contract with the view of extension
- Hours: 8am - 8pm
- Location: East Ham
Key responsibilities:
- Leg ulcer- compression bandage.
- Pressure ulcer care- including pressure equipment assessment.
- Wound management- including removal of stitches and clips.
- Diabetes management- insulin injection and blood sugar monitoring.
- Medication administration- including IV antibiotics.
- Injections- intramuscular, subcutaneous.
- Male, female and supra-pubic catheterisation and catheter care.
- Palliative care- syringe driver.
About you:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
- Experience working in a community setting
