Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join one of our private clients on a full-time, permanent basis. During your 37.5 hour working week, you will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team, which will include 2 other psychiatrists, nursing, OT, 2 associate specialists, social workers and psychologists. You will act as a Responsible Clinician for 18 inpatients that are spread across the level 2 rehab and acute wards.
The unit you will work within a unit which provides care for women who are suffering from a range of mental health conditions. In this role you will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team which offer personalised assessments along with recovery-based treatment pathways, this will include trauma specific pathways for women who have complex care needs.
What we're looking for:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Full GMC registration with licence to practice/
- MRCPsych or MRCPsych equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
- Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients.
- Section 12(2) is essential.
- Experience with working in general adult settings and have experience as being part of a multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience of working within acute inpatient or community settings, ideally inpatient settings and have experience in risk assessment and risk management.
