We are working with a Local Authority who are seeking an Intensive Dementia Outreach Worker to join their team across Waltham Forest.
You'll provide person-centred, high-quality support to people with advanced dementia, including personal care. To support the carer to continue within their role. To ensure that maximising independence, choice and control is at the heart of all service provision.
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
Location: You will support group sessions at both the Dementia Hub in Leyton and Windmill Court in Chingford, and undertake home visits to service users' homes across the borough
Contract: 3 month initial contract with the view of extension
Rate of pay: £14.84p/h Umbrella
Requirements:
- Experience supporting patients with Dementia
- Ability/ willingness to travel throughout the borough as required.
