My client is a Local Authority in Central London who are looking to appoint a talented Divisional Accountant on a Contract basis

What's on offer:

• Salary: £350 - £450 per day, inside IR35.

• Remote/Hybrid working
• Contract type: Contract (36 hrs a week)
• Hours: 09:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday

About the role:

Based in London Bridge - Responsibilities include:

• Coordination of data for the medium term financial strategy.
• Support for Senior Finance Manager in preparing the Medium-Term Financial Strategy.

• Ensuring revenue and capital budgets are in line with service objectives.
• Timely and accurate monitoring of capital and revenue budgets and appropriate action taken of significant variances.

About you:

You will have the following experiences:

• Qualified Accountant (CCAB) or Part qualified with relevant CPD.
• Detailed, up-to-date knowledge of all relevant aspects of Local Government finance including Local Authority accounting.
