EHC Case Manager
Salary: £300 per day – Negotiable depending on experience
Contract: Initial 3-month contract with a view to being extended
Work Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday.
Hybrid working 2 days in the office & 3 days remote.
Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting for an EHC Case Manager for a local authority based in Northampton.
As an EHC Case Manager you will manage the process for statutory assessments and Education, Health & Case Plans for children and young people with special educational needs to ensure they have appropriate support, resources and placements in schools to enable them to achieve their maximum potential for learning.
This will include leading the statutory annual review process of Education, Health & Case Plans and attend person centred review meetings at key transition points.
Duties will include:
- Making decisions to agree EHC needs assessments and issuing EHC Plans
- Attending formal mediation
- Managing a team of caseworkers and admin staff
- Making decisions based on annual review reports
- Liaising with schools and other professionals and parents
