Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a EH&CFS Birth to 19 Support Worker a Local Authority Client based in East London.
In this role, you will work directly with children, young people, and their families, delivering tailored support through a collaborative, restorative approach to improve outcomes and build resilience.
About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:
- Manage caseloads, conduct assessments, and deliver tailored individual and group interventions for children, young people, and families.
- Work with multi-agency teams, Family Hub partners, and community organisations to ensure cohesive and effective support.
- Support parents and carers to create positive environments, deliver workshops, and address challenges like SEND, safeguarding, and mental health.
- Maintain accurate records, follow safeguarding policies, and work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet family needs.
About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Proven ability to work with children, young people (0-19, up to 25 with SEND), and families facing diverse and complex challenges, including safeguarding, SEND, and mental health issues.
- Experienced in conducting Early Help assessments, creating tailored support plans, and delivering individual and group interventions using restorative and whole-family approaches.
- Competent in maintaining accurate records, using IT tools, and promoting equality and inclusion to ensure accessible support for all families.
What's on offer:
Salary: £20+ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
