We are working in partnership with a Local Authority in Bolton to appoint an experienced Exit Support Worker to join their Complex Safeguarding Team!

Within this role you will be expected to safeguard and empower at-risk young people who are victims or at risk of being criminally exploited by organised criminal gangs.

Responsibilities:

  • Expertise Deployment: Utilise your direct experience and in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by young people susceptible to criminal exploitation. Your insight will be instrumental in formulating effective intervention strategies.
  • Legal Navigation: Demonstrate a comprehensive grasp of child protection safeguarding processes, legislation, youth offending, crime prevention, and diversion. This knowledge will serve as the foundation for your role in advocating for the rights and well-being of the young individuals under your care.
  • Case Management Excellence: Manage a case load with precision, conducting specialized exploitation assessments. Develop and implement robust risk reduction and support plans, ensuring the tailored needs of each individual are met.
