Spencer Clarke Group are looking for an IT Requirements Manager to join one of our public clients on a full-time basis. The role involves the purchase software and IT products on behalf of the Institute as the IT Requirements Manager. Leading IT tenders and developing technical specifications. Ensuring adherence to best practices and procurement processes in order to secure the Institute the greatest possible value. Providing relevant teams with operational procurement advice about IT purchases. Project management as instructed for IT procurement projects. To provide a thorough informational resource on best practices for IT purchases.
What you'll do:
- To take the lead in the Institute's IT procurement operations.
- Helping to create, plan, and implement the Institute's strategy for its own and other areas of activity in order to achieve the Institute's organisational goals.
- Assisting in the business's efficient governance by making sure that employees understand financial control concerns, the significance of financial integrity, and their role in governance.
- Functioning as the primary point of contact for the specialised field of work and offering guidance and assistance to directors, budget managers, other employees, and outside partners.
- Offering helpful guidance and assistance with daily tasks and making sure employees have access to suitable training opportunities
- To be certain that the Institute's resources are efficiently managed in accordance with corporate guidelines and legal regulations, and that the Institute receives the best possible outcomes.
What we're looking for:
- Highly skilled expertise in a variety of work processes and practices, supported by theoretical understanding and relevant practical knowledge.
- Knowledge with public sector procurement procedures and business analysis approaches.
- Competency in creating IT specifications and collaborating with IT technical personnel to provide appropriate specifications and tender evaluations for the public sector.
- Understanding of IT support systems along with an understanding and commitment to equality and diversity.
- Experience of computerised information systems used in an office environment and experience of IT procurements.
