Strategic Finance Lead/Business Partner
My client is a Local Authority in Central London who are looking to appoint a Strategic Business Partner on an Interim basis.
About the role:
Based in Central London (Hybrid):
The role is integral to the council finances and will lead and manage the team providing strategic financial management, financial control and finance business partnering to one or more key council service areas.

- Salary: £550 - £700 per day, inside IR35.

- Hours: 09:00 -17:30 Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate the preparation and setting of the annual capital, revenue budget and rent setting process for the Public Health, Adults Social Care and Children's Commissioning.
- Analysis of the implication to the council of changes to government spending and funding strategies.
- Oversee effective Business partnering for the Public Health, Adults Social Care and Children's Commissioning divisions.
- Accountable for the budget setting, production of MTFS and monitoring of the budgets as part of the agreed monitoring cycle.
About you:
You will be expected to advise on all elements of strategic finance and planning and lead on the council's annual budget setting and quarterly reporting. following experiences:
- Qualified CCAB Accountant or Equivalent Relevant Finance Qualification.
- Accountable for producing and reviewing effective financial strategies which help meet key strategic objectives of social care, health integration and public health.
- You will need to evidence the ability to meet statutory guidelines and possess a strong technical knowledge of local government funding.
