The Role


We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Maths Teacher with QTS to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals, including teaching assistants and SEN specialists, to support our students' individual learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring Maths lessons tailored to a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with SEN, ensuring progress for all.
  • Use innovative approaches to make Maths accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to create personalized learning plans (EHCPs).
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and confidence.
  • Assess, record, and report on students' progress, celebrating their achievements and identifying areas for development.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching Maths, ideally within an SEN or inclusive setting.
  • A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and resilience in a dynamic learning environment.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
