We are working with an NHS Trust, who are seeking a Band 6 Nurse Practitioner to join their Memory Service, based in Waltham Forest.
What's on offer:
Location: Community visits within Waltham Forest
Rate of pay: £27 Umbrella
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Contract: 3 month initial contract with the view of extension
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for people with memory problems and their families and have links with many other services working within the local community.
- Provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment for people in Waltham Forest who have memory difficulties.
- Provide support to residential and nursing homes via information and visits
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
- Experience working with dementia patients is preferred, however a keen interest to work with this client group will be considered
