Spencer Clarke Group are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our client and play a key role in delivering high-quality care and support. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting onsite assessments as well as assessments within the community. You will manage an active caseload of 30-40 service users with varying levels of complexity, providing tailored interventions to meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments through the O.T. process - assessment, planning, intervention, and review.
• Purchasing adaptations and equipment in accordance with policy and procedures to enhance the independence of service users.
• Supervising no more than two individuals and providing guidance and support as required.
• Collaborating closely with other Occupational Therapists in both hospital and community settings, as well as with other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated care delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a community or independent living setting.
• Strong understanding of current relevant legislation and best practices in Occupational Therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and their families.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
