Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care Service (Locum Contract)
Location: Haringey
Full-Time Locum Contract
Hourly Rate: £31 - £39.96 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a full-time locum Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care Service in Haringey.
This role will involve working specifically on the MHRA Reviews, ensuring that medicines and medical devices meet safety standards and are fit for use. You'll be responsible for monitoring the safety of medicines and devices, approving their use, and providing advice or warnings to users. This includes reviewing cases related to bed levels and bed rails to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and reviews related to MHRA processes, focusing on the safety and functionality of medical devices and medicines.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to ensure safety standards are met.
- Focus on cases involving bed rails and bed-level reviews, ensuring they meet required safety criteria.
- Work collaboratively with other health and social care professionals to ensure holistic support for service users.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Requirements:
- HCPC Registration and relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
- Proven experience working within a local authority setting, particularly in adult social care.
- Strong knowledge of medical devices, safety standards, and the MHRA process.
