Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care
Full time Locum Contract
£33.82p/h
Located in Lambeth
Our Local Authority Client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to support their locality team in Lambeth for a locum contract.
The role involves assessing the needs of clients for a variety of services including equipment, minor and major adaptations, as well as moving and handling requirements.
Key Responsibilites:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients to determine their needs for assistive equipment and home adaptations.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations for minor and major home adaptations.
- Carry out moving and handling assessments to ensure safe practices are followed.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, care staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop personalised care plans to promote independence and improve the quality of life for clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven experience in Adult Social Care, specifically in completing assessments for equipment, adaptations, and moving and handling.
