Home Adaptations Team

Full time locum contract

£33.82 per hour

Located in Walthamstow (Hybrid - home and office based)

Our Local Authority Client are recruiting an locum Occupational Therapist for their Home Adaptations team in Walthamstow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments within the Home Adaptation Team, focusing on adults in need of support at home.
• Apply expertise in complex moving and handling, ensuring safe and effective solutions are recommended.
• Support the delivery of home adaptations, working closely with surveyors and caseworkers to develop tailored intervention plans.
• Work independently to manage caseloads, while providing regular updates and reporting to the Line Manager as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Knowledge of specialist equipment, major adaptations and manual handling.
