Community based across Windsor & Maidenhead

We are recruiting a Paediatric Occupational Therapist for our Local Authority client, to work within the Children and Young People Disability Service in Windsor and Maidenhead. The service supports children and young people aged 0-25 with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality paediatric occupational therapy to support children and young people with disabilities in achieving their potential.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address occupational therapy needs and offer specialist advice to other disciplines.
• Manage a specialist caseload of children and young people with complex physical, learning, and social needs.
• Prepare reports for Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and multidisciplinary team (MDT) assessments/reviews.

Requirements:

• Diploma/BSc/Graduate Diploma/MSc in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
• Passionate about and/or have experience in working as an OT in paediatrics.
• Working knowledge of child development, neuro-development and childhood occupations.
