Physics Teacher

Job Title: Physics Teacher (Permanent Role)
Location: Haslingden, Lancashire
Start Date: October Half Term
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join our client at a great high school in Haslingden.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging physics lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching A-Level.
• Plan and prepare lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support and encourage development.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with colleagues to contribute to the school as a whole and support extra-curricular science activities.

Requirements:

• A degree in Physics or a related subject.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience of teaching physics at secondary school level.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to student achievement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
