Job Description:

We are currently seeking qualified teachers who are subject specialists in English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, and Modern Languages to join our team in September 2024. Successful candidates will be passionate about their subjects and dedicated to inspiring and engaging students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in your specialist subject
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages active learning
• Develop and implement teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
• Participate in departmental and staff meetings, contributing to curriculum development
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student achievement and well-being

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in your specialist subject or a related field (required)
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (required)
• Experience teaching at the secondary level (preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
