SEN Assessment & Review Coordinator
£275 - £280 per day

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced SEN Assessment & Review Coordinator to assist with the implementation of statutory procedures to meet the continuing needs of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Working as part of a local authority team in North London, the SEN Assessment & Review Coordinator will be responsible for the suitable placement and sustained provision of children and young people with SEND within the local authority area.
Essential Requirements:
- Extensive experience of SEN Casework and EHCP writing for a Local Authority.
- Proven experience of working within a post 14 team.
- Secure understanding of the SEND Code of Practice 2015, SEND Regulations 2014 and The Children and Families Act 2014.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Production of high-quality and person-centred Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Management and administration of SEND Casework, ensuring that records and data are accurately maintained.
Skills required:
- Able to build and maintain meaningful relationships with education settings and young people and their families.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise conflicting demands to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
