SEND Case Officer

Salary: £270 per day – Negotiable depending on experience

Contract: Initial 3-month contract with a view to being extended

Work Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday.

Fully Remote Working

 

Spencer Clarke Group are working with a local authority in Southwest England to support with the appointment of several SEND Case Officers.

 

These roles as a SEND Case Officer will be based in the services Assessment team.

 

Key Duties will include:

 

  • Provide advice and guidance to young people and parents regarding options available to them in education, training or employment and to support transition planning
  • To work within statutory requirements and timeframes in the preparation, review and amendments of statutory plans (EHCPs) and phase transfer.
  • Prepare and present information to the Statutory Assessments and Resources Panel as required

 

What experience do I need?

 

  • Due to the nature of the role, it is essential to have worked as a SEND Case officer for a local authority previously.
