SEND Sufficiency Lead
£450 per day, negotiable depending on experience

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced SEND Sufficiency Lead to manage, develop and drive improvement for a local authority team in South West England.
As SEND Sufficiency Lead you will work closely with the SEND leadership team and education providers to ensure that children and young people with Education, Health and Care plans (EHCPs) are achieving the most positive outcomes for their specific needs.
Essential Requirements:
- Extensive background of leadership within the SEN sector.
- Proven experience in overseeing and managing budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to implement key changes and assess their impact.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Manage and monitor daily operations to ensure the quality of SEND provision is in line with commissioning practice.
- Drive processes using best practice to achieve the most positive outcome for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Provide high quality management, supervision and support to the Specialist Commissioning Team.
Skills required:
- Ability to identify gaps in service provision and implement change to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
- Capable of developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with all stakeholders.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to lead constructive change.
