SEND Teaching Support wanted for SEND School - Are you looking for a fresh role?

Job Title: SEND Teaching Support - 1:1
Location: Salford Area
Starting Date: 4th September 2024 - subject to a successful trial day
Salary: £96 per day and up depending on experience!

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide crucial academic and emotional support to a student with SEN needs
  • Conduct specialised intervention sessions based on ability and learning pace, addressing unique learning needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to formulate and implement student growth strategies.
  • Manage and mitigate challenging behaviours while fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in educational support roles.
  • Familiarity with SEND/SEMH needs and related conditions like autism and ADHD.
  • Ability to motivate and engage pupils through personalized strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong resilience and adaptability in handling challenging behaviors.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
