Senior Community Keyworker

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Senior Community Keyworker for a local authority client based in North London.

In this role, you will support individuals with learning disabilities to live independently by providing person-centred support, advocacy, and access to essential services within the community.

Key Duties:

• Provide person-centred support, promote independence, and advocate for individuals with learning disabilities.
• Work with families, professionals, and agencies to deliver holistic support while ensuring safeguarding measures are in place.
• Develop, implement, and review personalised support plans, tracking progress and adapting as needed.
• Supervise junior staff, maintain accurate records, and stay up to date with relevant policies and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

• Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, promoting independence, and providing person-centred care.
• Working with social workers, healthcare professionals, and agencies while ensuring safeguarding and risk management.
• Developing support plans, assessing progress, and supervising or mentoring junior staff.
• Maintaining accurate records, understanding policies, and adhering to social care regulations.

What's on offer:

Salary: £17+ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
