Senior SEND Officer
£360 per day

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced SEND Officer to lead a team of Assessment and Case Coordinators in effectively meeting its statutory responsibilities for children and young people with special and educational needs (SEND).
Essential Requirements:
- Leadership experience within a local authority SEND (special educational needs & disability) setting.
- Extensive knowledge of SEND procedures and statutory guidance.
- Experience in writing and presenting policy and strategy to improve future performance.
Duties include but not limited:
- Effective data collection relating to complaints and SENDT appeals.
- Initiation of improvement plans to better quality of service.
- Implementation of systems and processes to prioritise the needs of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
Skills required:
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Innovative decision making.
