We're working in partnership with a local authority in the London Bridge area, who are searching for an experienced Strategic HR Business Partnering Lead.

Contract: Initially 4-6 months, with potential for a permanent role.

Hours: Full-time 36 hours per week.

Location: London Bridge, SE1.

Pay Rate: Starting from £35 - £45 per hour (Negotiable based on experience).

About The Role:

• As the HR Business Partner (HRBP) Lead, you'll collaborate with leaders, stakeholders, and HR colleagues to shape workforce planning and people strategies that align with divisional objectives and council commitments.
• Your proactive approach will drive the HR business partnering model, ensuring effective delivery of HR activities such as workforce planning, employee relations, and talent management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead HRBP strategies aligned with directorate objectives, contributing to council delivery plans.
• Provide expert guidance on people practices to enhance employee retention and management confidence.
• Foster professional development and teamwork within the HRBP team through coaching and leadership.
• Develop workforce planning strategies to meet business needs and support organizational change.
• Enhance data-driven decision-making by developing HRBP capacity for strategic insights.
• Offer high-quality HR advice to leaders on staffing issues and promote positive employee experiences.

Experience Needed:

• Local Authority / Public Sector background.
• Expertise in HR Business Partnering and people practices.
• Strategic HRBP Lead Experience.

Qualification Needed:

• CIPD Qualified.
