Position: Student Support Specialist
Location: Salford Area
Start Date: 4th September 2024
Hours: 08:30 AM - 15:00 PM
Salary: £96-£110 PER DAY - Paid Weekly!
Key Responsibilities: As a Student Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in:
- Supporting pupils academically and emotionally, fostering their overall development.
- Implementing targeted interventions for small groups based on specific learning requirements.
- Offering 1:1 assistance to students who need extra help, ensuring their academic and personal growth.
- Working with teachers, parents, and support staff to devise and apply effective student development strategies.
- Managing difficult behaviors and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
- Experience in an educational environment, particularly in teaching support.
- Understanding of SEN needs, including autism and ADHD.
- Ability to engage and motivate students through adaptive methods.
- Strong skills in communication and collaboration.
- Resilience and empathy in managing challenging situations effectively.
Personal Qualities:
- A passion for supporting students with SEN needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
