Spencer Clarke Group is recruiting for a Substance Misuse Nurse to join our client in Greater London. This permanent position offers an opportunity for a Substance Misuse Nurse to help individuals recover from addiction and promoting long-term health and well-being.
Role Responsibilities
- Assessments of physical and mental health
- Develop partnerships and alliances with people who have problems with substance misuse.
- Providing screening and education on BBV (blood borne viruses) and Hepatitis B injections when necessary
- Training service users and staff on Naloxone, making sure Naloxone is distributed to service users at all times
Essential Requirements
- BA in Nursing and Active NMC Pin
- Experience of working within substance misuse
- Empathetic, non-judgemental and professional attitude to all stakeholders and service users
