Unit Coordinator

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Unit Coordinator for a Local Authority Client based in East London.

In this role, you will support the Legal Research & Data Analyst by handling large datasets, ensuring data integrity through validation and formulas, optimizing spreadsheet workflows, and applying basic programming skills to improve data efficiency.

Key Duties:

• Handle large datasets, ensuring accuracy through data validation, formulas, and structured organization.
• Use Google Sheets/Excel to link datasets, prevent duplication, and improve workflow efficiency.
• Utilize basic programming skills (Google Apps Script, SQL, JavaScript) to automate tasks and enhance data processes.
• Support the Legal Research & Data Analyst with documentation, reporting, and minute-taking for in-person meetings.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

• Experience working with large and diverse datasets, including financial, customer, or product inventory data.
• Strong ability to use formulas, data validation, and link spreadsheets to prevent duplication.
• Familiarity with Google Apps Script, SQL, or JavaScript to automate and enhance data processes.
• Experience assisting with documentation, reporting, and minute-taking in meetings.

What's on offer:

Salary: £19+ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
