You can also discover more about how the interim job market works in our recent interview with medical professionals recruitment specialist, Natalie Boaler.

We work with hundreds of NHS Trusts, community mental health teams, private mental health hospitals, residential care homes and private sector organisations who are looking for interim and permanent Mental Health Support Workers to join their teams.

We also work with community mental health centres, residential facilities and outpatient clinics so there is no shortage of Mental Health Support Worker jobs available.

To work as a Mental Health Support Worker, most clients will require GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths and a healthcare qualification, such as an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

We offer support with CV reviews, interview preparations and ongoing support is always available throughout the placement process.

Once sent to us, we will review your CV and if you have the credentials required by our clients we will set up an initial call to discuss your preferences.

Available roles will then be sent over to you and with your permission, we will then proceed by sending your CV to clients with the aim of securing you a job interview.

Absolutely not, you will always have full control of where your CV is sent. We will present opportunities to you and you can advise if you would like your CV to be forwarded on.

We pride ourselves on working very quickly; on average it takes us between 1 - 3 days to place a candidate.

There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to contract lengths but you can typically expect a contract to last between 3 - 6 months. However, contracts can last for years depending on the needs of the NHS Trust or business which you are working for.

Entering the interim market can be daunting at first, particularly if you’re not sure what to expect. However, contracts are regularly extended and as we work with hundreds of Local Authorities, there are always plenty more job opportunities just around the corner.

Simply contact us on 01772 954200 and we can put any concerns you have at ease.

It totally depends on the business you are working for. The work pattern type will be listed on the job advert.
