We are working in partnership with a Local Authority in Salford to appoint an experienced Housing Options Advisor to join their Homelessness Prevention Team!

Within this role, your main responsibility will be to support the efficient and effective management of our Housing Options Service. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of customer service while addressing individual queries and assisting with homelessness prevention efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responding to customer enquiries and providing guidance on housing options
• Reviewing enquiries and decisions related to homelessness
• Implementing the allocations policy and managing the Choice based lettings system
• Coordinating and monitoring cases referred to and from Supported schemes
• Managing tenancies of customers in Temporary accommodation
• Demonstrating knowledge of Housing Benefits and managing rent accounts
