Hi, I'm Debbie!

I have worked in marketing since 2014 - it is an industry which I’m really passionate about and I love the variety which each day can bring! I have worked in recruitment marketing since 2017, originally starting out in the world of job boards before moving to Spencer Clarke Group. 

I have a degree in Creative Advertising and I love mixing creativity and strategy - it's one of the best parts about the job!

My responsibilities include launching marketing campaigns, managing the marketing team, planning events, shaping our employer brand and brand development. 

We specialise across multiple sectors so there is rarely a quiet moment but I love the fast faced nature of recruitment and turning ideas into measurable results that push the agency forward.

I also take an active role in our CSR initiatives. In 2024, I helped to build a playground for a local school. Even though it was a lot of hard work, it was incredible to hear the feedback from the school and the children. 

In 2025, we were named Best Recruitment Agency Marketing Team at the Recruiter Awards, something which I am incredibly proud of. To be recognised at a national awards ceremony was a very special moment. 

Alongside the marketing, I spend a lot of time enhancing the company culture. You’ll always find me organising Christmas/summer parties, breakfast clubs or office games - everyone is very competitive though so it can get very lively!

In my own time, I love exercising, listening to podcasts, reading and taking my little dog Jack for long walks!
