James Fletcher

Hi, I’m James! 

I specialise in education recruitment for secondary schools across Greater Manchester. I typically recruit for supply and permanent teaching positions. 

I began my career in education recruitment in 2018, supporting secondary schools across the South West of England and South West London with their staffing needs. 

After five years in the sector, I decided to broaden my experience and took on a Business Development Manager role within financial services. While the experience was valuable and I enjoyed the role, I soon realised my passion still lay within education recruitment. 

In August 2025, I joined Spencer Clarke Group and returned to the education sector. It was definitely the right step for me. I get so much job satisfaction from working alongside professionals who go out of their way to deliver outstanding education for young people. 

I really enjoy the results driven aspect of recruitment and it certainly brings out the competitive side in me to achieve and surpass my goals. In 2025, Spencer Clarke Group was named Best Temporary Recruitment Agency at the Recruiter Awards. This solidified that I made the right decision to join the team! 

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my two-year-old daughter. When I get a spare moment to myself, you will usually find me on the golf course or watching football.
