Hi, I’m Jimmy!

I specialise in education recruitment, working alongside mainstream primary schools across the Fylde Coast and Preston, looking for dedicated Teachers and Teaching Assistants. I recruit for daily cover or on a temporary and permanent basis.

I have always had a passion for working in education after growing up in a family of Teachers who spent their careers working for schools across Preston.

Seeing first hand how rewarding the education industry can be ignited my passion for exploring the opportunities available to me and I began my career as part of the first cohort for the Catholic Teaching Alliance. I then worked as a secondary PE Teacher for 4 years across various schools in Preston and Sefton. 

After a few years in teaching, I decided I wanted to work in a business setting and took a leap of faith by applying for a role in education recruitment.

I began my recruitment career at an agency where I was a member of the primary team and spent two and a half years supporting schools with Teaching Assistant and Teacher appointments.

After a while at this agency, I decided to spread my wings and I was over the moon to secure a new position managing the primary team at Spencer Clarke Group. It’s by far the most vibrant office I have ever worked in and I love leading a team of outstanding consultants. There have been many highlights here but the biggest has to be winning Best Temporary Recruitment Agency at the 2025 Recruiter Awards. 

There is so much job satisfaction from working in recruitment. Knowing I have helped someone to find a job they are enjoying and that a school has managed to appoint someone to help their children, is very satisfying. 

In my spare time, I enjoy time with my family and playing golf. My lovely Labrador, Mabel, frequently joins me in the office and is also a big part of the team now!
