Hi, I’m Lauren!

I specialise in recruiting permanent positions for accountancy practices and industry roles throughout the UK. Whether it’s a tax, payroll, audit, accounts or back-office position, I’m on hand to help professionals join an exciting new team or accountancy practices and private organisations expand their existing workforce. 

After developing the necessary skills in a HR position, I began my recruitment career in 2016. I feel very lucky to love what I do and build lasting relationships with so many amazing people. 

As a people person, I take great pleasure in connecting candidates to a role which they love because it has such a big impact for both parties. My candidates get a career which they can excel in and my clients can thrive through recruiting exceptional talent. 

The accountancy and finance sector is very fast-paced and with so many accountancy firms and businesses looking to recruit, my days are often filled with client and candidate calls. I love working on permanent roles, it’s so rewarding to see a candidate find a job where they are able to put the qualifications they worked hard for to good use. 

I’m hard working, passionate and my colleagues would probably say very chatty as well - I think that’s why onboarding new clients and learning about candidates are my favourite aspects of the job. 

Since joining Spencer Clarke Group, I’m very proud to have won Employee of the Month several times and to have been crowned Queen of Halloween in our 2024 fancy dress competition.  

Outside of work, I’m a crazy cat mum who loves going out for nice food. I got married in May 2025 and I’m now enjoying the start of married life with my lovely husband and son!
