Hi, I'm Liam!

I’m Managing Consultant at Spencer Clarke Group, specialising in secondary education. I recruit for roles including Cover Supervisors, Teachers and Teaching Assistants for daily cover and on a temporary and permanent basis. I work alongside secondary schools throughout the North West. 

Alongside my position as Managing Consultant, I am also Spencer Clarke Group’s Designated Safeguarding Lead. 

I love working for a team who are so motivated to deliver positive educational outcomes for young people. At Spencer Clarke Group it’s not just about filling jobs. Prior to Spencer Clarke Group, I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2015. I decided this wasn’t the career for me and instead trained as a secondary school Maths Teacher, working in different high schools across the Fylde Coast. 

I then made the move into education recruitment where I progressed to Managing Consultant. My experience working in secondary schools has been of great benefit throughout my recruitment career. I’ve seen first hand the inner workings of a school and truly understand what schools are looking for when growing their team. A high quality of education must be maintained and whether placing Supply Teachers or permanent staff, I take great pride in playing just a small role in this. 

Outside of work, I love playing basketball and I play for Wrea Green in Lancashire (when I’m not injured). I also have 2 young children who keep me busy the rest of the time!
