Hi I’m Liam!

I’m a Senior Consultant at Spencer Clarke Group, specialising in the appointment of SEND and SEMH teaching professionals across schools in Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire. If you’re a SEND school, PRU or alternative provision looking for daily cover, or a professional searching for a temporary or permanent position, I’m here to help! 

I began my career working as an apprentice at a training provider where I supported young people into apprenticeships and employment. I did my apprenticeship for a year and then completed a level four Information, Advice or Guidance qualification and a level three Teaching and Learning qualification. 

I then started working in education and care recruitment where I supplied Support Workers to residential homes and Teachers and Teaching Assistants to SEND schools, before joining Spencer Clarke Group in 2024. 

My experience recruiting within the education sector really opened my eyes to the important work that these professionals do on a daily basis. It was an honour to work alongside them, as it continues to be at Spencer Clarke Group. I’m always keen to hone my skills and provide the best possible support to those working in education. 

In 2025, we were over the moon to win Best Temporary Recruitment Agency at the Recruiter Awards. We were also awarded Highly Commended in Most Effective Compliance Operation - a double win to be proud of and great reflection on the attention to detail we uphold during the recruitment process. 

I have a young family so my spare time is usually spent taking my boys to football or playing shop and barbies with my little girl.
